Subject: Join with Farmington residents & Comcast for a day of service!
Date: March 6th 2012

Hello!

We would like to let you know about a unique service event that Farmington is thrilled to be part of this year. Comcast and the City of Farmington would like to invite residents and neighbors to join together and participate in a day of service which can make a critical difference in our community. Together, hundreds of volunteers will work shoulder to shoulder to participate in service projects around the city such as cleanup and beautification of Woodland Park, tree planting and landscaping at South Park, painting at the 600 North tunnel, Davis Creek Trail cleanup and Legacy Trail cleanup.

Everyone received:
•Breakfast
•Lunch
•Free t-shirt

The day will kick off at 7:00 am at Forbush Park located at 100 S. Main Street, where volunteers will register and be assigned to a specific project or area. After the completion of the volunteer projects, a boxed lunch will be served to celebrate the day’s efforts as a community. The work we do on April 21 will make a lasting impression in our community, and together, we can help improve our city by lending a helping hand. Take time this spring to join your neighbors and friends in this community-wide day of volunteerism. Together, we can make all make a difference.
